Quebecer, Louis Cyr, "The Strongest Man Who Ever Lived ", won his first strongman competition in 1880, defeating the reigning Canadian strongman by lifting a granite boulder weighing 480 lbs. As a professional
strongman one of his stunts was to tie three 50 lb weights in his hair,
then swirl the weights His most famous stunt involved four horses being tied to his arms and, as the horses were whipped and urged to pull, Cyr managed to restrain all of them. Style:
